When my son was diagnosed with ADHD, our lives took a new direction — and so did my purpose. That’s how Happe Sensory was born.

Liam had been prescribed various medications to help manage his ADHD. While they provided some relief, I didn’t want to rely solely on them. During one appointment, Ethan’s Paediatric Consultant recommended trying a Weighted Blanket. I remember thinking, “What even is a Weighted Blanket?” I had no idea at the time just how transformative that one suggestion would be.

That blanket didn’t just help Liam sleep better — it helped him feel calmer, more secure, and more in control. Witnessing that shift inspired me to explore other sensory tools, and eventually, to start Happy Sensory, a place where families like ours can find comfort, support, and solutions that truly make a difference.
