Happy Sensory started right in our home when we were just trying to help our two amazing kids feel safe, calm, and supported.
One of our children is autistic, and the other has ADHD. As parents, we were learning every day how to meet their unique needs, and one thing quickly became clear: sensory toys made a real difference. But finding high-quality, safe, and purposeful sensory toys wasn’t easy. We spent countless hours researching, ordering, testing, and hoping we’d find something that worked. Most of what we came across felt random or poorly made – and nothing felt designed with families like ours in mind. That’s when we had the idea to create Happy Sensory. We wanted to build a space where parents could find sensory toys that actually help – not just fun and colorful, but effective, safe, and supportive. A store that understands the real challenges and joys of raising neurodivergent kids. A place that feels like home.
